Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information collected during a visit, why it is used, and the limited circumstances in which another party may receive it. By continuing to use Bee County Court Docket, you acknowledge these privacy practices.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

A name or case number entered in a search tool is transmitted directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Bee County Court Docket does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.

Messages and Contact Submissions

An email or contact message may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Data We Gather Automatically

When a page loads, the server may automatically receive basic technical and usage details, including:

  • The IP address assigned to your device
  • Which browser you are using and its version
  • Your device type and operating system
  • The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
  • The site that sent you here, if any
  • Timestamps for each page view

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small files saved on a device. They help measure which pages are used and where visits end. Analytics providers combine this traffic information for reporting. A browser can block cookies, although doing so may change how some features operate.

What We Do With This Data

  • Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
  • Sending your search requests to the right partner service
  • Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
  • Tracking down and fixing technical issues
  • Showing ads that may line up with your interests

No Court-Record Data on File

Bee County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal case information or court dockets. It provides general directions to the Bee County Clerk, Bee County District Clerk, local courts, and Texas court-search resources. Texas judicial-record requests are governed by court rules, including Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12, rather than the ordinary Chapter 552 process for executive agencies. The website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report or a record about another person.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted through a box is governed by that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and disclosure practices, so review those terms before running a query.

Links to Other Websites

Links may lead to Bee County clerk pages, Texas court portals, legal-aid resources, and outside search services. Once an external link opens, the destination's privacy policy controls. Read it before providing personal information.

Some advertising providers may measure activity across websites to select ads. That activity is processed on the provider's systems.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:

  • Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
  • Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
  • Ad networks that place ads on our pages
  • Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it

How We Protect Your Data

Reasonable security measures are used for information collected here. No internet system is completely secure, however, and the absence of a breach cannot be guaranteed.

Users Under 18

The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If information from a minor is identified, a request may be made for its deletion.

Your Data Rights

Rights may vary under applicable Texas and federal privacy or consumer-protection law. Subject to legal limits and the ability to verify a request, you may:

  • Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
  • Have us fix information that is wrong
  • Request that we erase your data
  • Opt out of certain kinds of data processing

Updates to This Policy

This policy may be revised as practices or legal duties change. A replacement version will be posted here and identified by a new effective date.
